When Rashmika Mandanna took help from Vijay Deverakonda
Rashmika Mandanna, following recent film successes, is now engaged to Vijay Devrakonda, a development confirmed by his team. Their relationship began on set, and Vijay proved a constant support, notably guiding Rashmika through a challenging scene in `Pushpa 2`. Her performance in that scene garnered overwhelming audience applause, bringing her to tears of joy.

Continuing on her great run with films like Animal and Pushpa 2: The Rule,Rashmika Mandanna this year released films like Chhaava and Kuberaa- both films where despite having limited screen time, she was praised as an actress. The actress on Saturday added a new high albeit in her personal life as the news begun about her and Vijay Devrakonda’s engagement news began to spread, with Vijay’s team confirming the engagement to a news publication. Vijay and Rashmika’s love story began when they worked on films like Geetha Govindam and Dear Comrade. Now not many are aware that Vijay was the first person who called when she was stuck while perofming a scene in Allu Arjun and Sukumar’s Pushpa 2. In an interview with ETimes, she revealed that it was the Jathra scene where she had to praise her on screen husband Pushpa ( Allu Arjun) she rang up Vijay for his help. In the interview she said “ When I got the scene, I didn’t know what to do or how to go about it, so I spoke to Vijay. That’s the only scene I spoke to him about, saying I don’t know where to start, and he gave me a perspective, which was quite interesting, and, of course, what happened on set was all Sukumar sir and Allu Arjun sir, but, he’s been a constant help, and I’m really grateful.Adding more she stated “ The first time I saw the scene play out, it was the premiere show with Allu Arjun sir by my side. When I started the dialogue, everyone went quiet and in the end, when I heard people whistle and clap, I was like did this actually happen because in Animal also I had this monologue? And because of all the trolling for me which came with the trailer, I went into the space of, “I thought I gave a good performance, but isn’t it really, so I didn’t want to be in that bubble”. Though when the film was released, people were like, that was the best scene that you did, but that moment was gone, it had passed. But in Pushpa, when I heard the applause , I had tears in my eyes, I was like this is what it feels . Thanks to God and Sukumar Sir for giving me this opportunity to feel this.”
