The Wedding of VIROSH’: How fans named Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna’s big day

The much-anticipated wedding of Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna is set to take place on February 26 at the luxurious ITC Mementos in Udaipur. It will feature a strictly limited guest list of around 100 attendees and an elaborate traditional menu, according to recent reports.According to News18, the couple opted for a deeply personal ceremony, inviting only close family members, select friends from the film industry, a few noted directors, and some prominent political leaders from Telangana. With strict security measures and limited guest invitations, the occasion is meant to be private, emotional, and without the typical ‘wedding chaos’.

Carefully curated guests and early star arrivals

The personal touch is also reflected in their small guest list, despite their roaring popularity. Only those who have played an important role in their journey have been invited. Visuals of Tollywood stars Tharun Bhascker, Sandeep Reddy Vanga, Rahul Ravindran, and actress Eesha Rebba leaving for Udaipur have already gone viral, signalling the start of the celebrations. The limited attendance, combined with high-level security arrangements, ensures that the wedding remains a close-knit affair while still carrying the scale and elegance of a celebrity event.

A lavish menu rooted in tradition

Food is going to be one of the focal points of the wedding. Guests will be greeted with coconut water and offered a South Indian traditional meal on a banana leaf at the main wedding event. The menu, as reported, features an amalgamation of Telangana, Andhra, and Karnataka cuisines, including natukodi pulusu, garelu, Hyderabadi dum biryani, pappu, pachhi pulusu, and the famous Old City keema samosa. Special ferocious Kodagu treats, kadambuttu, pandi curry, noolputtu, and Mysore pak, will also be present to enrich the occasion.

Pre-wedding celebrations and what lies ahead

One of the things making the wedding special, however, was the guests relishing Japanese cuisine preparations at each of the pre-wedding bashes. Though the Udaipur wedding ceremony is only for invited guests who are not public, a big Hyderabadi reception is being planned for film industries from different parts, which will most likely be at the same venue. Whether it’s the limited wedding guest list or the restricted wedding menu, there has been a balance between grandeur and simplicity.
