Hindi films compared to South Indian cinema

Recently, she appeared as a guest in the Newsroom, by The Lallantop. During the conversation, she was asked about the difference between working in Hindi films compared to South Indian cinema.Tamannaah shared that she started acting at a very young age. She recalled a time when she was replaced just because she was ‘uncomfortable’ doing a scene.

‘Change the heroine’

She stated, “I think people try to shake your confidence because you are young and show that you don’t know it. You don’t understand because you are not that age. So that happened many times. People try to humiliate you. I was once doing a film with a very big South star. And on some scenes, I had to say that I cannot do this. I am not comfortable with this. There was something in that scene with which I was not comfortable. I said that I am not comfortable doing this scene. Then the star said – ‘Change the heroine’.”The actress went on to add, “If someone tries to humiliate you, it is not necessary that you feel the same way. Whatever he felt, he said it out loud. It was his decision to treat his lead actor. The next day he himself came and apologised to me. He said ‘Sorry, I was very upset. I was angry. I should not have behaved like that’.”
