The first official trailer for ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ is finally slated for its big release. With just four months to go before its July release in cinemas, the makers are finally set to release the trailer tomorrow. While an official post from the makers was not released, various online reports confirmed that the trailer would be released on Tuesday or Wednesday, depending on various time zones.

This comes after buzz last week confirmed a trailer launch this week, as the trailer is scheduled to be attached to the Hollywood film ‘Project Hail Mary’, starring Ryan Gosling in the lead. The trailer is expected to play out on the big screens with the film releasing in theatres this weekend.

This will be the first official look at the next chapter in the popular superhero franchise. It would be interesting to see if the trailer will be the same as the leaked footage, or if it will feature something new. Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures were sent scrambling to take down leaked footage of the ‘Spider-Man’ trailer that leaked twice already. While one was a highly pixilated trailer, the other was a HD recorded verion, playing from a computer screen.

While the studio has yet to reveal the storyline, the leaks so far indicate that the series will continue exploring the journey of Peter Parker after the events of ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’, which left the character navigating a dramatically altered reality, after Doctor Strange makes the world forget Spider-Man.The trailer and film is also expected to play a launch pad for the new MCU heroes and villains. Actress Sadie Sink is rumoured to be playing the role of Jean Grey in the upcoming film, and will go on to play a bigger role in the MCU in the years ahead.

‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ will also feature a returning cast of Zendaya as MJ, Mark Ruffalo as the Hulk and Jon Bernthal as the Punisher. The film releases in theatres on 31 July 2026.
