In this day and age of the internet, rumours run faster than facts. Recently, a report related to Shah Rukh Khan’s health got his fans worried. Several reports claimed that Shah Rukh Khan got injured on the sets of Siddharth Anand’s film ‘King,’ and was travelling to the US and would eventually relocate to the UK to recover. The alleged incident was reported to put a dent in the shooting schedule as well. However, according to the latest update, the aforementioned things hold no element of truth.According to a NDTV report, these are all rumours. A source has verified that Shah Rukh Khan has experienced injuries during several shoots in the past, some of which can sometimes resurface. For his treatment and care, he frequently travels to the United States.The report further stated that King Khan left for America in the second week of July and is expected to return by the end of the month.
Not a standalone incident
This is not the first time that false reports regarding SRK getting injured during a shoot set the internet abuzz. Earlier, too, there were rumours that he injured his nose during a shoot, but the truth was that it wasn’t any mishap that took place on the sets; rather, a minor nasal surgery, not an injury from filming.
About ‘King’
Touted to be an action-packed thriller, ‘King’ will bring Shah Rukh Khan back together with his Pathaan director, Siddharth Anand. The movie also marks Shah Rukh’s daughter Suhana Khan’s big screen debut following her OTT project ‘The Archies’ (2023). She will be seen sharing the screen with her father, which is one of the USPs of the film. The movie is expected to hit theatres sometime between October and December 2026. Various reports suggest that King will include several renowned stars, such as Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan, Anil Kapoor, Rani Mukerji, Jackie Shroff, Arshad Warsi, and Abhay Verma, among others.
