The actor, promoting his cousin’s film, confidently stated, “Promote your film well, Peddi won’t be late.” The village-based cricket action film, featuring Janhvi Kapoor and AR Rahman’s music, has already seen its release date shifted, adding to fan concerns.

Earlier, when the film was set to release on the actor’s birthday, it was pushed ahead. Lately, doubts have arisen about whether the makers can deliver on the announced date. Amid these speculations, the ‘RRR’ star himself shared his confidence regarding the release.

Ram Charan recently promoted the upcoming movie ‘Rakasa’, which his cousin Niharika Konidela produced. In a video shared by the makers, the team can be seen in a casual round table discussion with the ‘Peddi’ star.During the interaction, Ram Charan stated, “Promote your film well, Peddi won’t be late.”Despite his statement, some rumours persist. People are saying the movie might not release on time. But there is no official update from the makers about any delay. Earlier, the film was planned for March 27, 2026. Later, it moved to April 30, which worried fans again.

Regarding ‘Peddi,’ the film is a village-based sports action drama that primarily revolves around a cricket tournament. Recently, the makers shared the ‘Peddi Pehelwan’ teaser giving a look into his wrestler avatar. Ram Charan will be seen in a rugged and long-haired avatar. Additionally, he can also be seen with a nose ring.

‘Peddi’ also features Bollywood’s Janhvi Kapoor opposite Ram Charan as the female lead, marking her second Telugu outing, after her debut with Jr NTR. The film also includes Kannada star Shiva Rajkumar, Divyendu Sharma, Jagapathi Babu and Boman Irani among other actors. AR Rahman composed the film’s music.
