The Punjab School Education Board has released the admit cards for the Class 12 board examinations 2026. Along with this, the board has also issued the Matric (Class 10) March 2026 admit cards. Schools have been given access to download the admit cards for regular students through the official website.Students are required to collect the signed admit cards from their respective schools before the commencement of the examinations. They must ensure that all details printed on the admit card are correct to prevent any inconvenience during the examination process.Admit card distribution for regular studentsAs per PSEB, the admit cards for both Class 12 and Matric (Class 10) examinations were made available to schools through the official portal at 12 pm. Only authorised school authorities are permitted to download the admit cards. These must be signed by the school principal before being issued to students.Regular students of both Class 12 and Class 10 are not allowed to download the admit card on their own and must collect it from their schools at least one week before the examinations begin.Instructions for studentsStudents have been instructed to carefully verify details such as name, roll number, examination dates, examination centre, and instructions mentioned on the admit card as soon as they receive it.In case of any discrepancy, students must inform the school administration immediately so that corrections can be carried out within the time limit prescribed by PSEB.Admit card mandatory for examinations and resultsCarrying the PSEB admit card is compulsory on every examination day for both Class 12 and Matric (Class 10) candidates. Entry to the examination centre will not be allowed without the hall ticket.The admit card will also be required later for checking examination results. Students have been advised to keep the document safe until the entire process is completed.Process for private candidatesPrivate candidates appearing for the Class 12 examinations can download their admit cards from the official website by selecting the appropriate batch and entering the required login credentials.Candidates need to provide details such as reference number, candidate name or father’s name, or old roll number to access and download the admit card PDF.After downloading, private candidates must review all details carefully and report any errors promptly to avoid problems during the examination period.The Class 12 board examinations will be conducted from February 17, 2026 to April 4, 2026. Schools have been directed to ensure timely distribution of admit cards for both Class 12 and Class 10 examinations so that students do not face any disruption during the scheduled exam period.
