Northern Coalfields Limited (NCL) has released the official notification for Assistant Foreman (Trainee) Grade‑C recruitment 2026. A total of 270 vacancies are available across disciplines including Electrical, Mechanical, and Electronics & Telecommunication. Eligible candidates can apply online from February 11, 2026. The last date to submit applications is March 5, 2026. Candidates must have a 3-year diploma in engineering along with a 10th pass certificate. NCL vacancy details and eligibility

NCL has announced 270 posts for Assistant Foreman (Trainee) across multiple engineering streams. Candidates must have a recognized diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, or Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering. Along with the diploma, applicants must have passed Matriculation (10th class) from a recognized board. Age should be between 18 and 30 years, with relaxation for SC, ST, OBC‑NCL, and PwBD candidates as per government rules. Both male and female candidates meeting these requirements can apply.

The application can be done online through the official website of NCL (www.nclcil.in). The online application dates are February 11, 2026 to March 5, 2026, up to 11:59 PM only. The application fee for General, OBC, and EWS category candidates will be ₹1,180, but it is exempted for SC, ST, PwBD, and Ex-Servicemen categories. Selected candidates will be posted in operational areas of Singrauli (MP) and Sonbhadra (UP). Selection process

The selection process will start with a Computer-Based Test (CBT), which includes technical knowledge, reasoning skills, awareness, and aptitude.
