On Monday evening, several Bollywood celebrities arrived at the Deol family home to pay their respects following the passing of legendary actor Dharmendra.Actresses Shilpa Shetty, Shamita Shetty, Kajol, and producer Raj Kundra were among those seen visiting the Juhu residence to offer their heartfelt condolences.
Actor’s health struggles
The ‘He-Man’ of Indian cinema had been unwell for a few weeks. On November 10, Dharmendra was admitted to Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital after his health began to deteriorate.
Dharmendra spent his final days at home
After two days of the veteran actor’s hospitalisation, Dharmendra was discharged as the family chose to continue his treatment at home. Sadly, on November 24, the legendary actor passed away at the age of 89.
Dharmendra’s family stands
Dharmendra is survived by his first wife, Prakash Kaur, and his second wife, actress Hema Malini. He is also survived by his six children, sons Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol, and daughters Vijeta and Ajeita from his first marriage, along with daughters Esha Deol and Ahana Deol from his second marriage. He also has four grandchildren, Karan Deol, Rajveer Deol, Aryaman Deol and Dharam Deol.
