As Shah Rukh Khan celebrates his first-ever National Award for Best Actor for his performance in ‘Jawan’, warm wishes continue to flood his inbox. One of them happened to be from actress and long-time friend, Juhi Chawla. Celebrating Khan’s big win, Juhi, on the occasion of friendship day, shared a throwback photo with the man of the moment and penned an affectionate message that read, “@iamsrk HUGE Congratulations on winning the National Award!!!! Shah Rukh Khan was honoured with the National Award for Best Actor for his role in ‘Jawan’. He shares the award with Vikrant Massey, recognised for his performance in ’12th Fail’. Rani Mukerji was awarded Best Actress for her role in ‘Mrs. Chatterjee Vs Norway’.Juhi and Shah Rukh first shared the screen back in 1992 when they starred together in ‘Raju Ban Gaya Gentleman’. The duo went on to star in several other hits, including ‘Darr’. Off-screen, as well, they remained close friends and business partners.
Upcoming Film
Meanwhile, on the work front, Shah Rukh is currently healing from an arm injury. He will soon be seen in the film ‘King’, directed by Siddharth Anand. The action drama will see him sharing the screen with daughter Suhana Khan, along with Abhishek Bachchan, Jaideep Ahlawat, and Saurabh Shukla. Rumours are rife that Deepika Padukone, Rani Mukerji, Jackie Shroff, and Anil Kapoor may also feature in cameos.
