In FY 2024–25, it registered a footfall of more than 6.2 million Indians and 6,45,000 international visitors. Built by Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal, this masterpiece is known for its intricate inlay work, reflective pools, and the changing hues of the monument at sunrise and sunset, which make it a timeless experience for every traveller.
