Critics slam the hypocrisy
Experts in education and debt relief have called out the hypocrisy with striking clarity.“This just shows the lengths that the Trump administration will go to to weaponise Public Service Loan Forgiveness and debt more broadly to achieve their fascist objectives,” The Intercept quoted Persis Yu, deputy executive director at the Student Borrower Protection Center.Sara Partridge, of the Center for American Progress, said the changes reflect “a major abuse of power,” and warned that lawsuits are likely.
