Ranveer Singh‘s film ‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge’ has been rampaging at the box office since the first day. In this movie, Singh’s Hamza is set to become the Sher-E-Baloch after the death of Rehman Dakait (Akshaye Khanna) in the first part. But ‘Dhurandhar 2’ will not feature Flipperachi’s song ‘FA9LA’ as the BGM this time. The makers used another song for Ranveer’s entry as Sher-e-Baloch. The track will definitely make you nostalgic.
Ranveer Singh’s BGM song for Sher-e-Baloch will make you nostalgic
The makers of ‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge’ used the Arabic song ‘Didi’ by Algerian singer Khaled for Ranveer Singh’s Sher-e-Baloch sequence. It will make every millennial feel like they have heard this song before. Well, the 90s kids are right. It was used in Govinda and Rani Mukerji’s film ‘Hadh Kar Di Aapne’. For those unable to recall, it appears when Govinda plays various characters behind an empty TV screen. During that scene, he becomes a Sheikh and starts dancing to ‘Didi’ tunes. The movie was released in April 2000.

Not just that, the song later featured in Akshay Kumar’s film ‘Airlift’. The song ‘De Di Dil Cheez Tujhe De Di’ is a remix version of Khaled’s ‘Didi’. The movie was released in January 2016. Interestingly, there is also a Hindi version of the song. In 1993, Rishi Kapoor and Anupam Kher performed ‘Ladki Ladki’ from the movie ‘Shreemaan Aashique’.
