Chahal breaks silence on podcast
Her post comes just days after Chahal addressed their divorce publicly for the first time on Raj Shamani’s podcast. Reflecting on the viral moment when he wore a T-shirt reading “Be Your Own Sugar Daddy” on the day of their final divorce hearing, Chahal explained, “Mujhe drama nahi karna tha, I just wanted to give one message—and I did.”
A message, not drama
While the cricketer clarified that he hadn’t intended to create drama, he hinted that something from Dhanashree’s side had pushed him to respond. “Kyunki saamne se kuch cheez hua tha… pehle mann nahi tha,” he said, adding that once the incident occurred, he decided to respond in his own way. “Ab sambhaal lo, ab mujhe nahi parwah kisi ki,” he continued, explaining that his T-shirt was meant as a message, not abuse—a moment of personal closure rather than confrontation.
