Director and music composer fees
Reports suggest that director Rajkumar Periyasamy has been signed for Rs 15 crore. Industry sources claim he received Rs 6 crore for Amaran, along with an additional Rs 4 crore after the film’s success, which significantly boosted his market value. As a result, his fee for D55 has reportedly seen a substantial jump.Music composer Sai Abhyankkar is said to be charging Rs 3 crore. All of this indicates that D55 is mounted on a massive budget, with a significant portion allocated to star salaries and top-tier technicians.
Mammootty’s stand on his salary
The most interesting development, however, revolves around Mammootty’s remuneration. Reports suggest that Dhanush was willing to pay him as much as Rs 35 crore.
