Bollywood superstar Salman Khan is all set to work on his next big venture. The actor, who has been busy with the shoot of his war film ‘Maatrubhumi: May War Rest in Peace’, has announced his next film, an action-thriller, directed by Vamshi Paidipally. Sharing a photo with the director, he also announced that the yet-untitled film is reportedly targeting an Eid 2027 release and the film, planned as a grand theatrical spectacle, is scheduled to go on floors in April 2026.

Confirming the collaboration, Salman shared a post on his social media handles writing, “Dil, Dimag, Jigar se… from this April with @directorvamshi.”
Salman Khan’s Telugu debut
Salman made his Telugu debut with a special appearance in the 2022 action-thriller ‘Godfather’, starring alongside Chiranjeevi and Nayanthara. He played a pivotal cameo role in this film, which was a significant collaboration between Bollywood and Tollywood.

Director Vamshi ‘s film with Salman, comes after his impressive collaborations with Prabhas, Jr. NTR, Mahesh Babu, Ram Charan, Allu Arjun and Vijay. Meanwhile, Salman is also gearing up for the release of ‘Maatrubhumi: May War Rest in Peace’, which was previously titled ‘Battle of Galwan’. The film directed by Apoorva Lakhia, is described as an intense portrayal of bravery, sacrifice and resilience, and also stars Chitrangada Singh in a pivotal role. The film is scheduled to be released in theatres on April 17, 2026, although some reports suggest a potential postponement to August, 2026.
