Famed musician Rosalía was all set to perform and bring her energy to her Milan concert; however, halfway through, the star fell ill. While performing at the Unipol Forum recently, the 33-year-old performed around 11 songs before having to stop the concert due to food poisoning.
Rosalía cancels Milan concert in the middle amid health scare
Earlier this week, Rosalía started her Milan concert show at the Unipol Forum with great energy. She even performed for at least 45 minutes from the start of the show; however, she abruptly had to stop everything. In videos that quickly went viral, shared extensively by fans and netizens, the singer announced she was unwell and could not continue the concert as planned. In the videos, she was heard telling the crowd, “I tried to do this show — since the beginning I’ve been sick. I’ve had bad food poisoning, and I’ve tried to push it till the end but I’m feeling extremely sick.”She continued, explaining that she had been trying hard to get through the concert, but her health prevented her from continuing. “I might try to keep going, but maybe at some point I have to stop. I’m extremely sick. But we might have to stop if I physically can’t keep going, I’m in pain,” she concluded.
Rosalía shares an update after cutting the Milan concert short
A day later, she took to social media to share an update with the world. She posted a photo of herself smiling at the camera while lying on a stretcher with an IV drip attached to her arm. She posted the photo on her stories section with the caption, “Feeling better. Thank you so much for all the love and understanding from everyone who was there.”The singer-songwriter is currently on her ‘Motomami World Tour’ (Lux Tour), which she recently started. The first show was held in France on March 16, and the remaining shows will happen all across the world. The singer had earlier revealed that the tour will continue until September.
