Tamannaah Bhatia is one of the few stars who has made a name for herself in both Bollywood and the South film industry. With her rising fame, she has often been dragged into gossip and rumours. But nothing caught public attention like the rumours linking her to Indian cricketer Virat Kohli and Pakistani player Abdul Razzaq.Now, the ‘Baahubali’ actress has finally spoken up, shutting down the false stories and clearing the air once and for all.
Tamannaah says she met Virat once
Addressing the dating buzz with Virat Kohli, in an interview with The Lallantop, Tamannaah firmly denied the claims and said, “I feel so bad because I literally met him for only one day. I have never met Virat after the shoot. Na maine unse baat ki na unse mili hun (I haven’t spoken to him, nor have I met him).”
She jokes about Abdul Razzaq rumours
Tamannaah also spoke about the strange rumours of her secret marriage to Abdul Razzaq. The rumours started after the two were seen at a jewellery store, which led many to believe they were a couple. “Mazaak Mazaak mein Abdul Razzaq! The Internet is a fun place. Yaa, According to the Internet, I was briefly married to Abdul Razzaq,” she joked.Looking straight at the camera, the ‘Lust Stories 2’ actress added with a smile, “I’m sorry sir (Abdul Razzaq), Aapke do-teen bachhe hain, I don’t know what your life is!”
She found the rumours very embarrassing
The ‘Aaj Ki Raat’ star admitted that the rumours were hard to deal with. “It was so embarrassing,” she said. She added, “It’s very awkward when there’s no connection at all, and people still create one. But there’s nothing you can do. It takes time to accept that you can’t do anything about it. People will think whatever they want to think. You can’t sit and control everyone.”

Tamannaah is currently single. Reports suggest that her last relationship was with actor Vijay Varma. The couple started dating after meeting on the sets of Netflix’s ‘Lust Stories 2’. Their romance began during filming, and they made it official in 2023 around the time the anthology was released. However, they have now reportedly parted ways for reasons not known to the public. Despite the breakup, Tamannaah and Vijay are said to still share a friendly bond.On the work front, Tamannaah is busy with several films in different languages. One of her upcoming projects includes the Hindi folk thriller ‘VVAN – Force Of The Forrest’.
