The recruitment aims to engage apprentices for training in designated trades under the Apprentices Act, 1961.To be eligible, candidates must have:
- Passed the Class 10 board exam (or equivalent) under the 10+2 system with at least 50% aggregate marks from a recognized board.
- A National Trade Certificate in the relevant trade issued by the NCVT/SCVT.
In terms of age:
- The minimum age is 15 years.
- The upper age limit is 24 years as of the cut-off date specified in the notification.
- Only the date of birth mentioned in a government-recognised matriculation certificate or birth certificate will be considered.
RRC Eastern railway recruitment 2025: Selection process
Unlike conventional recruitment tests, the selection process is entirely merit-based. No written test or interview will be conducted.A centralized merit list will be prepared based on the details filled in by candidates in the online application form. The merit will be determined by averaging marks scored in the 10th examination and the ITI trade certificate.Candidates are advised to fill in their data carefully, as no corrections will be allowed once the application is submitted.
