The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay has announced the Common Entrance Examination for Design (CEED) 2026 for M.Des, today, March 4, 2026. Aspirants can check the result by visiting the official website, ceed.iitb.ac.in. The scorecards will be released from March 10 to July 31, 2026. CEED exam is one of the greatest points of entry into elite design training in India. The test, which is carried out by IIT Bombay, tests the candidates on three areas: visualization, drawing, logical reasoning, creativity and design sensitivityExperts advise candidates to prepare all necessary documents well in advance to avoid last-minute stress. What happens after CEED 2026 results?

CEED 2026 qualifying with a valid merit rank provides a variety of academic avenues. Applicants have the option of applying to M.Des programmes not only in IITs but also other design institutes in the rest of the country. Admission is, however, not automatic.Every participating institute will publish his/her admission notification, application form, and deadline. Learners have to make individual applications to each institute they are seeking and maintain the various admission schedules.Depending on the admitting policy of the institute, shortlisted candidates can be subjected to extra rounds of screening. Such rounds may also incorporate interviews, presentations on portfolios, design problem solving exercises, or statement based assessments to determine creative thinking.
