The National Testing Agency has declared the results of the All India Sainik Schools Entrance Examination 2026, commencing the admission process for Class 6 and Class 9 in Sainik Schools and New Sainik Schools across the country.The results have been announced on February 27, 2026. Candidates who have taken the exam can log in and download their scorecards from the official website, exams.nta.nic.in.Examination conducted across 190 citiesThe AISSEE 2026 was conducted in pen and paper mode on January 18, 2026. The exam was conducted at 464 exam centers located in 190 cities. The exam was conducted for Class 6 and Class 9 admissions in existing Sainik Schools and new Sainik Schools.The declaration of the results marks the beginning of the next stage of the admissions process. This was stated in an official notification issued by the agency. The NTA stated that the eligibility criteria and other forms and documents of shortlisted candidates will be examined in the next stage in accordance with the norms.Only the candidates who have fulfilled the eligibility criteria will be allowed to proceed further in the admission process.Procedure to download the AISSEE 2026 scorecardThe candidates can download the scorecard by visiting the website, exams.nta.nic.in, and clicking on the AISSEE 2026 result option that is available on the home page of the website. The candidates need to enter the application number and password in the required fields and click on the submit button to download the scorecard.The candidates have been advised to retain the scorecard for the counselling process.Admission through e-counsellingThe admissions to the Sainik Schools and New Sainik Schools will be done through the e-counselling process, and the seats will be allotted to the candidates on the basis of merit and eligibility criteria.The NTA has advised the candidates to follow the guidelines and fill in the required documents within the stipulated time frame.“Any query with regard to admission process may be forwarded to the email ID admission.sss@gov.in,” the agency said.Further announcements regarding the counselling process and admission process will be made on the portal.
