Shanaya Kapoor recently shared a heartfelt message thanking everyone for the love she received for her role in ‘Tu Yaa Main’, which released on February 13. The daughter of Sanjay Kapoor also posted behind-the-scenes photos with her co-star Adarsh Gourav. The movie, which is Shanaya’s second film, is a remake of the Thai movie ‘The Pool’ and has received a warm response from the audience.

On Monday, Shanaya took to her Instagram handle and wrote, “Tu Yaa main came into my life at a time when I really didn’t have the most confidence in myself.. and it gave me that.. and everything more. Tu Yaa Main is now in theatres and Avani is out there surviving crocodiles. She taught me so much.. especially taught me how to be a complete BADASS. (still trying.. getting there.. I think). Thank you… thank you not just for letting me play her, but for accepting me as a part of something like this so early on in my career… all the love from the audience.. the reviews.. everything. Overwhelmed. I still have a long journey of learning this art… so getting to work with @bejoynambiar & @aanandlrai ‘s slightly unhinged, very real world feels kind of wild?!?!. @bejoynambiar sir thank you for bringing AVANI to life.. for believing in me and pushing me to be the best version of myself.. ‘Tu Yaa Main’ shows steady box office growth
‘Tu Yaa Main’ started slowly at the box office, earning Rs 60 lakh on its first day. The film picked up on Saturday after getting good reviews and positive feedback, making Rs 1.45 crore. On Sunday, the numbers went down a bit, with around Rs 75 lakh collected. According to Sacnilk, the film’s total so far is Rs 2.80 crore.
