The Central Selection Board (Constable Recruitment), Bihar (CSBC) has issued the admit card for the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) for recruitment to the post of Driver Constable in Bihar Police. Candidates who qualified in the written examination can now access their hall ticket through the official website, csbc.bihar.gov.in. The PET will be conducted from March 15.The board has activated the direct link for downloading the PET admit card. Applicants are required to obtain and print their admit card in advance, as entry to the physical examination centre will not be permitted without it. The PET marks the next stage of the recruitment process for those shortlisted from the written examination.How to download the PET admit cardCandidates must visit the official CSBC website at csbc.bihar.gov.in. On the homepage, they need to click on the ‘Bihar Police’ tab and locate the link titled ‘Download Admit Card for PET of Driver Constable’. After selecting the link, applicants are required to enter their registration number or mobile number along with their date of birth.Once the captcha code is entered and the ‘Submit’ button is clicked, the admit card will be displayed on the screen. Candidates should download the document and take a printout for use on the day of the test and for future reference.PET and driving skill test detailsThe Physical Efficiency Test will assess candidates through a series of physical tasks. These include running, high jump, long jump and shot put. The PET is mandatory for candidates who have cleared the written examination and is part of the selection procedure for the Driver Constable post.In addition to the physical events, candidates will also undergo a driving skill test. Given the nature of the post, driving competence will be examined strictly as part of the recruitment process. Documents required at the examination centreOn the day of the PET, candidates must carry a printed copy of the admit card along with an original photo identity document and a photocopy. Accepted identity proofs include Aadhaar card, voter ID card or driving licence.Applicants are also required to bring original educational certificates and their driving licence, as document verification may be conducted at the venue.Board issues caution to candidatesThe Bihar Police Recruitment Board has cautioned candidates against fraudulent calls and recruitment agents. The board has stated that the selection process is based solely on merit and physical efficiency. In case of any discrepancy in the admit card, such as errors in name or photograph, candidates must contact the board office immediately.
