The ‘Harry Potter’ series is going to be a delight for Slytherin fans! The actor who’s taking the role of Draco Malfoy in the series has revealed interesting insights and shared how his character will differ from the novels and films. The 14-year-old revealed that in the adaptation, fans will get to see “so much more than the books”, hinting that the series will feature more of Draco Malfoy than there was in the films.
Lox Pratt shares how the series will be different from the books
In an interview with 1883 magazine, Lox Pratt, the 14-year-old actor, said, “I think with this adaptation, you get to see so much more than the books.”He continued that since the films are mostly based on books, which are more about Harry’s shoulders. However, he continues, “And I think Francesca and Mark (showrunners) have been audible about this in their interviews, there’s just so much more that you get to see.”
Fans to get ‘more of Draco’ in the series
Lox Pratt shared more about the role, which was played by Tom Felton in the movies. He revealed, “You get to see Draco at home. I won’t spoil too much about that, but there are some brilliant scenes at home where you start to get an insight into how he is.”Hinting that the series will take us to Draco’s backstory, Pratt said, “he is the sneery villain. I feel like there’s so much more you need to understand why.”
Lox Pratt is looking forward to the series
Sharing that he’s “grateful” to be given so much “freedom to explore” the character, Lox added, “You see little glints of it in the film with Lucius and stuff. I think (the series) is really brilliant. I can’t wait to bring it to the screen.”In addition to Lox, the show is set to star Dominic McLaughlin as Harry Potter, Arabella Stanton as Hermione Granger, and Alastair Stout as Ron Weasley.
