The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the NIFT 2026 admit card for undergraduate and postgraduate design programmes. Candidates who have registered for the National Institute of Fashion Technology Entrance Examination (NIFTEE) can download their hall tickets from the official website — exams.nta.nic.in/niftee. The entrance exam will be held on February 8, 2026, in two shifts across the country. The admit card is mandatory for entry to the examination centre. Candidates must check all details carefully and follow the instructions mentioned on the document. Without the printed admit card and valid photo ID, entry will not be allowed.

How to download NIFT admit card 2026

Candidates can download the admit card by visiting the official NIFTEE portal at exams.nta.nic.in/niftee. Click on the link for the NIFT 2026 admit card. Log in using the application number and password or date of birth.After logging in, the admit card will appear on the screen. Download it and take a clear printout. Exam date, shift timings and test pattern

The NIFT entrance exam for 2026 will be held on February 8, 2026. The entrance exam will be held in two shifts. The General Ability Test (GAT) will be held as a Computer-Based Test (CBT). The Creative Ability Test (CAT) will be held in pen-and-paper mode.The reporting time and shift will be mentioned in the admit card. Candidates are advised not to report late, as they may not be allowed entry.The entrance exam is being held for UG courses such as BDes and BFTech, and PG courses such as MDes, MFM, and MFTech.

Documents to carry and exam day instructions

Candidates must carry a printed copy of the admit card along with a valid photo identity proof such as Aadhaar card, PAN card, voter ID or passport. Without these documents, entry to the exam centre will not be allowed.Candidates must reach the examination hall at least at the time stated on the admit card. They will not be allowed to carry with them gadgets, calculators or any sort of study materials.NTA has warned the candidates to adhere to the code of conduct printed on the admit card and to help the officials at the examination centre in the proper execution of their duties.
