The CSIR Central Road Research Institute, New Delhi, has published the CSIR CRRI Recruitment 2026 notice for various non-technical vacancies. This recruitment process is being carried out under Advertisement No. 02/PC/Non-Tech-2026 and involves various vacancies for Multi-Tasking Staff, Junior Hindi Translator and Security Assistant/Watch and Ward Assistant.As per the official notice, the recruitment exercise is available to qualified Indian citizens through an online application process. The exam date is yet to be announced.Vacancy details and post, wise distributionIn total, 12 positions are offered through this recruitment drive. These are 1 post of Junior Hindi Translator, 1 post of Security Assistant or Watch and Ward Assistant, and 10 posts of Multi, Tasking Staff. Among the MTS posts, 4 posts are for the General category, 4 posts are for OBC (NCL), and 2 posts are for EWS candidates. One MTS post is reserved for ex-servicemen and one for PwBD candidates with blindness or low vision. Eligibility criteria and age limitCandidates applying for the Junior Hindi Translator post must possess a postgraduate degree with Hindi or English as a subject. The Security Assistant or Watch and Ward Assistant post is open to ex-servicemen or candidates with five years of relevant experience. For the MTS, the candidate must have passed Class 10. The age limit for the Junior Hindi Translator is 30 years, for Security Assistant is 28 years, and for MTS is 25 years as of January 1, 2026. The age relaxation is as per government rules.Application fee and selection processThe application fee is Rs 500 for General, OBC and EWS candidates. SC, ST, female, PH, PWD and ESM candidates are exempted from payment. The selection process includes examination, skill test, document verification and medical examination.
