BSEB opens D.El.Ed JEE 2026 dummy admit card correction window on official portal

The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has announced the release of dummy admit cards for candidates appearing in the Diploma in Elementary Education Joint Entrance Examination (D.El.Ed JEE) 2026. The facility is available for applicants who have successfully submitted their examination application forms and paid the prescribed fees for admission to the D.El.Ed course for the 2026–2028 academic session.The Board has officially announced that the dummy admit cards will be available for download on the official website from January 28, 2026, to February 2, 2026. Candidates who wish to get their dummy admit card can do so either by logging in with their user ID and password or they can download it directly. The Board has also instructed the candidates to check the details mentioned on the dummy admit card carefully and if any changes are required to be done, they should be done within the specified time.Reason for issuing a dummy admit cardEven before the final admit card is issued, candidates are given the dummy admit card to help them check their personal, academic as well as category, related details. The Board of School Education, Bihar (BSEB) has also announced that the details mentioned on the dummy admit card will be considered for the preparation of results and the allocation of educational institutions at the time of admission. Any errors left uncorrected during this window may directly affect a candidate’s result or admission.The Board has specifically asked candidates to verify details such as status, dependent status, faculty, domicile, reservation category, gender, disability status, and Urdu medium status at the 10+2 level. Responsibility for inaccuracies in these details will rest entirely with the candidate.Fee payment rules for category correctionBSEB clarified that candidates whose reservation category changes during the correction process may need to pay an additional fee. If a candidate originally belonging to the SC, ST, or PWD category is shifted to another category after correction, they must pay the prescribed fee difference of Rs. 200 through online mode. The payment must be completed by February 2, 2026. Failure to do so will result in the non-issuance of the final admit card.The Board has also made it clear that no further opportunity for correction will be provided after the deadline. All other terms and conditions mentioned in earlier notifications will remain unchanged.
